It's World Series of Poker time again and Harrah's has just announced that 32 hours of online gambling will be broadcast on ESPN! The 2006 WSOP tournament is every poker player's dream tournament. It's the Olympics of the poker industry, where professionals and amateurs go head to head playing Texas Hold'em poker for millions of US dollars. And 32 hours of the most adrenalin-filled action are about to hit TV and computer screens around the world.Sponsored again this year by Milwaukee's Best Light beer, the ESPN broadcasts will start airing weekly between 8 and 9pm on Tuesday 18 July, right through to 31 October. The big news this year is that for the first time ever, you'll be able to watch the final table's game LIVE! If you've got 25 bucks in your pocket and a TV or PC to watch it on, ESPN's special pay-per-view channel (called The World Series of Poker Live!) will beam the sensational poker showdown from 3pm EST on Thursday 10 August. The show won't end until you know who survives the last all-in, so you might want to start practising that fake cough for a sick day on Friday the 11th. It's going to be a L-O-N-G night! Commissioner of the World Series of Poker, Jeffrey Pollack, is ecstatic to be making yet another stride in the popularity of poker. Pollack said, "ESPN's live tournament coverage of the final game will be an historic first for the game of poker". 26 cameras will catch every bit of action from every angle, including a bird's eye view over the entire length and width of the table, players and cards. With the Mansion Poker Dome tournament changing the way poker games are recorded by camera, this year's WSOP event has upped its game as well. The competition will feature 10 pocket cameras to peak at the players' cards when they do, as well as a rabbit camera near the dealer to let us in on what cards are waiting in the deck.
